Description:

In a scene reminiscent of the Samaritan woman at the well, Jesus cries out on the last day of the Feast of Booths that He is the living water and all who drink of Him will be transformed forever. We will delight in the beautiful imagery Christ creates, and just scratch the surface of the multitude of Old and New Testament associations to His statement. But in particular we will notice that the lives of those who drink this water are forever changed and become themselves part of a river bringing life to a parched world. We will find here a profound description of the church in the Gospel age and recognize that Jesus is not only calling us to share in eternal life, but also to be radical disciples engaged in the work of the Kingdom-- changing the world through the River of Transformation!
